Flute Fingering Chart Clarinet Fingering Chart Trumpet Fingering Chart Trombone Fingering Chart Reeds for Sax & ClarinetAll Clarinet & Saxophone players should have AT LEAST 3 good reeds in their case at all times. This allows them to "break in" several reeds ahead of time, and have several backup reeds in case their favorite reed breaks or fails. Beginners should get size 2-1/2, and more advanced students should get size 3 reeds.
I recommend Rico Royal (Less Expensive) and VanDoren (Highest Quality) brands of reeds. You will pay less for reeds when you purchase them BY THE BOX. Local stores that carry reeds include Summerhays Music, and Bert Murdock Music. |
